WHAT SOCIAL MEDIA IS SAYING ABOUT THE SELFTAP WALL

Beer selection is 40 different types. Has everything for everyone and self serve so no tipping (thank the lord) and no waiting like a starving seagull to get your breadcrumbs from the 1 bartender that is clearly overwhelmed.

Very cool and Innovative  concept
Pay at the door, grab a glass ( all different types) and then survey the taps... just like fro-yo
Let it run up to 10 seconds, charges 69-89 cents per oz. very cool !!!

New self-serve bar that opened up in Ktown! What I like about this place is the spacious seating area, the variety of beers on tap (light, dark, ciders, etc.), and the food.

You can stand, sit at the bar, or grab a table without having to be right next to your neighbor. The beer is charged by the ounce so you can drink as much or as little as you like. Since I'm a lightweight and like to try different things, this was the ideal situation for me and my friends.

- A unique concept
- You purchase a card in front with how much you want to spend
- If you return this card before you leave, you get $1 back
- If you pay in cash, you get $25 on the card by just paying $20
- Then there's two walls of taps. Each one a different beer. There's a description with the name, origin, and alcohol content of each drink. It also tells you the price per ounce.
- You tap your card and have 10 seconds to pour however much you want
- At the end, the screen will display how much you paid and what's left on your card
- The beers vary in region and alcohol content; there's something for everyone

Great pour yourself draft beer system! The 805 was fresh and tasty.. Liked it because you don't have to wait for bartender, by the way bartenders were friendly and lovely.

Now the first thing you're going to see as you enter are pool tables and a few chairs and tables with the actual bar at the far end of this room. It's a full bar so you can have whatever drinks you want as well as  a few tall refrigerators that are full of beers. The canned and bottled beers are mainly your typical domestics. But there are a few craft beers in between. Now for the beers on tap, against the wall (not behind the bar) there's about doz. taps. You give the bartender a charge card & she hands you a pint glass and a card that you swipe above the tap you want and pour your own beer. Pour as little or as much as you want and it charges you by the ounce. They have a patio on the side of the building and a kitchen that makes standard bar type food. If your near the mall and looking for something different with craft beers/ mixed drinks it's worth checking out but nothing fancy. Odd? yes, interesting yes.

The staff is wonderful about checking in and asking if you need any assistance. The serve yourself beer and wine wall is easy and fun! This is a great place to try new beers or wines - only pay for what you pour. What a little gem of a find in Mountlake Terrace! We'll be returning!

What a great experience! Fun restaurant with great food and beverage selection. Love the beer and wine wall! The service was excellent and the manager was super nice!

But their real claim to fame is the wall of self-serve beer taps. Something like 40 beers on rotation, with a prepaid card system that works really well. And they usually have some great beers, in addition to the sports bar staples and easy-drinking lagers.

Went to the Orangetheory happy hour there.  If you like beer and don't like waiting to be served, this is the place for you. You get a card (I need to take a picture to post) you can load money on. I need to confirm if there's an expiration date on the card (don't believe there's one), when I return. You'll select your glass, wash and chill it... tap your card on the beer you want and pour (Please tilt your glass 45 degree and let it pour down the side of the  glass, half way down for a lovely pour). I don't play pong but it was entertaining watching the others play. There's a large karaoke room upstairs with it's own bathroom. There's a bar towards the back, but it's more for simple drinks like may favorite, Jameson and Ginger. Also, ordered drinks at the bar towards the back but they had to take my card (not the beer card) to the front register to process payment.  In all, I had a fun time and will return.
